We don’t have a set agenda for the day until two weeks before the event. Due to the nature of finalizing our speakers – they go through coaching and have a final audition two weeks before the event – we don’t create a schedule for the day until after final auditions.

This is just a rough guess. But we intend for it to flow this way.

• 12:00 pm: Registration starts. Coffee will also be available then.
• 12:30 pm: Talks begin. Seating is General Admission/Open Seating
• 2:15-2:45 pm: Break. Light snacks and drinks available
• 5:00 pm: Talks conclude. and Speaker Panel begins. It’s awesome and you’ll want to plan on staying for it.
• 6:00 pm: Panel concludes and After Party begins.

A limited amount will go on sale at our Kick-Off Party. Once those are sold out, the rest go on sale approximately 6 weeks before the event.

Early Bird tickets are $15 off the regular price. Regular price tickets range from $35-50 per person depending on where seating is located. We strive to keep ticket prices for everyone down. There is no padding on the ticket price, therefore, we do not offer any discount (sorry students).

Yes, until 7 days before the event. If you are outside of that time, you can request a refund directly through Eventbrite. Here are the instructions. Otherwise, please email us.

Yes, tickets are transferable.  You can go directly to Eventbrite, sign in to your account and edit the attendee name on a ticket. If you have any problems, you can email us and we’ll update the ticket.

No, save a tree and printer hassle.  All TEDxCharlotte tickets are electronic.  Just bring yourself and your ID and we’ll do the rest.

Yes. Every attendee must have a ticket.

Yes, there is a livestream of the event. We get the URL the day before the event and will post it on our website. If you’d like to host a streaming party, email us.

That depends on the venue. So this will be included in venue information shared before the event.

Yes! We’ll share more information about what to expect with the event updates after registration.

You can pre-order them with your ticket or purchase the day of the event. Keep in mind we have a limited amount on the day of the event and they usually sell out by lunch. While we can take credit cards, we love cash as much as the next guy!

Traditionally, yes, we’ll find a place to gather, talk about the day and socialize. It is usually within walking distance of the venue.
