Olanike is a strategist and executor rolled into one. She has applied her organizational development, change leadership, and leadership coaching skills in both the social impact and for-profit sectors, nationally and globally. She founded Mosaic Consulting www.mosaic4equity.com to offer equity-informed diversity training and consulting, and management and leadership coaching to facilitate transformation in the workplace. Olanike created the ‘Equity via Diversity and Inclusion’ (EvDI TM) framework, which enables organizations to achieve sustainable institutional change.
Olanike activates her deep passion for equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and talent development through various boards, councils, and committees of non-profit organizations, schools, and corporations. She is obsessed with building equity in the world!

Description: Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) is trendy but the transformation is slow and fatigue has set in. Marginalized demographics grow increasingly cynical of efforts intended to address shortcomings in the workplace. This talk establishes a new and better way to actually get the job done!
What do you want people to learn from your talk? I want people to use a more effective approach for targeting D&I outcomes in the workplace.
What action items do you want people to take away from your talk? I want workplaces to embrace a new paradigm that will bring real and sustainable progress. Let’s get rid of D&I for something better!

What are you passionate about? I’m passionate about equity in the world, starting with the workplace.
What draws you to Charlotte? Charlotte is a young city in so many ways. That means there is still an opportunity to further develop the city with a priority on equity for its residents.
What is the best compliment you’ve received? One of the best compliments I’ve received is that I bring out the best in people.
What do you want to be remembered for? I hope to be remembered for making a meaningful difference.
How do you push the boundaries? I consistently question why boundaries exist in the workplace and who they serve.
What does your happy place look like? My happy place is on a beach, under an umbrella, with a fruity drink and a good book.
What is one thing that you would like to share that is unknown about you? I’m an introvert.
Where do you see Charlotte in 5 years? Charlotte’s residents will continue striving for improved community relations and hopefully, companies will start or continue transforming their policies and processes in ways that truly transform the workplace and provide equal access and opportunity for all.
