We hope you all are well and safe. 2020 has been a year of tumult. Like so many things, we are looking at a new way to deliver a great event to you. After closely monitoring the COVID pandemic and recommendations for public gatherings, we don’t believe we can provide a safe in-person TEDxCharlotte event this year with proper social distancing. However, our speaker finalists have worked so hard polishing their talks that we still want to honor their work with a virtual event.
Ideally, we wanted to announce this with some details of when to tune in for the virtual event. Unfortunately, we are still trying to get that finalized. But here is what we do know:
We intend to have an event that is open to anyone that would like to attend virtually, at no charge. Because six hours is a long time to sit through a zoom conference, we will be breaking up the speakers over a series of Fridays. We will also be including some roundtable interaction with the speakers. We don’t have the details of how this will work yet but will communicate them as soon as possible.
Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. Thank you for your patience.
